Sun Solaris

Overview Solaris 10 runs on a number of servers at Boston University in applications that require solid hardware and robust service. We have deployed ZFS, logical domains, and containers on new Sun equipment, and we can assist you in doing the same.

Benefits You gain access to easy-to-maintain ZFS file systems, which grow or shrink with a simple command to meet client needs. You can host virtual machines in logical domains or in containers. Your systems can be maintained through automatic installation of a monitored set of patches.
