Other mail servers and web-based mail interfaces at BU
ACS is Boston University's central mail server, where most people receive and read their mail. Horde provides Web-based access to mail stored on ACS.
While most people read mail on the ACS server, there are other mail servers at BU, including several running Microsoft Exchange. We recommend that you contact your department's IT coordinator for more information if your mail is stored on one of these other servers. Some links for reading mail are provided below.
- The College of Engineering hosts mail for some faculty and staff in ENG, LAW, and others on their Microsoft Exchange server: https://engwebmail.bu.edu/
- UIS provides a Microsoft Exchange server for staff in most administrative (non-academic) departments: https://xmsweb.bu.edu/
