Step 2) From this screen, press the Install button

Step 3) Press the Next button and, if you have any software that may block the installer, either press "Unblock" "Yes" "Allow" or "Permit" to allow the installer to continue.

Step 5) Select Check for updates automatically, and then press Next

Step 7) From this next screen, choose "Custom (for advanced users)*" and then press Next.

Step 8) Only put a check next to the entries indicated in the picture below.
(These are the selections that the IT Help Center recommends, but if you click on each one, it will give a description of what each option does, so if you see something you like, feel free to also put a check next to those.)
Again, press Next to continue.

Step 9) Read and press I Agree to agree to the EULA and continue with the software installation.

Step 10) It's recommended to leave the default installation folder, so just click on Next.

Step 11) The installer should remain at this screen for a bit while it is installing...

Step 12) When you see this screen, you can plug your printer into the computer via USB.

Step 13) After plugging in the printer, the installer will set up the printer to work with your computer.

Step 14) The program will bring back this screen and continue to install more software...

Step 17) You can chose to request a reminder to register at a later time, or to never be reminded. The window also has the information on how to start up the registration proccess at a later time. Select when you would like to be reminded (if ever) and then press OK.

Step 18) This new window will come up, and we recommend you press Print Test Page. Then a smaller window will pop up, and you should click Print Page. A test image will be printed now.
