Mac OS X 10.4.x HP Setup
**NOTE: DO NOT PLUG THE PRINTER IN YET! WAIT UNTIL PROMPTED.**
1) Insert the HP Setup CD and wait for the auto run. If it does not launch automatically, double click the HP icon on the desktop and launch the HP Installer, as shown below.
2) Next, the program should ask for your account password before the setup will run. Enter your computer's password and click OK.
3) From the next window, under Select Device, select Deskjet D4200 series. Press Continue.
4) Press Continue again to agree to the license.
5) Press the Install button to begin.
6) Wait while the drivers and printer managment software are installed.
7) After the installation, an HP Customer Participation window will pop up. Click No.
8) Your printer is now ready to be used. Plug it in via USB and you should be able to print.
