Consulting Services

The IT Help Center provides help via in-person consultations (where you call, e-mail, or visit and talk with us) or check-ins (where you drop off your computer).

Your schedule is already full, so we’ve made it easy for you to get your system looked at while you take care of other things. When possible you can leave your system with us and come back later. Consultations, made by appointment, are reserved for times when your presence is needed to complete the service.

When you contact us, our consultants will determine if your service requires a consultation or check-in. Consultations are available at any of our IT Help Center locations, and check-ins are done at 533 Commonwealth Avenue.

  • “How do I?” questions.
  • Wireless and Ethernet issues where physical damage is not immediately suspected.
  • Account issues.
  • Mail issues, or other issues where Kerberos login and password is required to resolve.
  • Issues specific to one application.
  • Installation of one application.
  • Help with data migration after data backup has been performed.
  • Hardware issues.
  • General performance issues.
  • Reloads, backups, virus removals.
  • Any OS issue.
  • Multiple application issues.
  • Installation of multiple applications.
  • Combo hardware/software issues.
