Benefits	BU’s dedicated technicians for faculty and staff telephone repairs ensure prompt attention. Student voice service includes Verizon’s Telesure maintenance plan and repairs are free of charge.

Cost	Faculty and Staff: No charge Students: No charge for repair of a faulty line, wires, or jacks under the Verizon Telesure maintenance plan. However, if you call out a Verizon technician and the problem is due to your faulty phone, there is a charge of $47.50.
Getting Started	Faculty and Staff Call Telecommunications at 617-353-2097 for any problem with a telephone or fax line. We will need the telephone number in trouble, the location including room number, a contact name and number, and a description of the problem. Students Local telephone service includes Verizon’s Telesure maintenance plan covering repair of the telephone line, wires, and jacks. To report a problem to Verizon, please call 1-800-837-4966.
