Mobile Services

Overview	Boston University’s mobile services connect University employees with business cell, smartphone, and broadband service. We offer employee discounts on personal cell phone service. We’ll also help you sync your mobile device so you can access your BU e-mail, contacts, and calendar. We’ve even created BU Mobile, a suite of applications for the iPhone.
Available To	Faculty, Staff
Benefits	For business use, BU offers you basic cellular, smartphone, and broadband service at a discounted rate. You can view your bill online and sync your mobile device to a BU server. Employees are also eligible for discounts on popular personal cell phone plans. Anyone with an iPhone or iPod touch can use the free BU Mobile app.

Requirements	You must have approval from your department head to bill cell service to your department. You must be a Boston University employee with a valid BU e-mail address to qualify for employee discounts.
Cost	Varies depending on the plan and device you choose. BU Mobile is a free download.
