Key Features	Send Word Now, the automated tool supporting the BU Alert system, distributes critical information quickly, securely, and reliably. Emergency notifications may be sent via phone, text, and/or e-mail, depending on the contact information you provide on the Student Link or Employee Link.
Requirements	Students are required to provide an emergency contact number on the Student Link.
Cost	Text messaging charges may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
