Description of Impact
We received reports of network outages from the following locations; 8 St. Mary’s Street, 15 St. Mary’s Street, 730 Comm Ave, 750 Comm ave , 46 Mounfort, 138 Mountfort, 24 Cummington Mall and 110 Cummington Mall.
Incident Description and Resolution
All services except for one lab within 24 Cummington Mall are functional again. Networking along with other teams are investigating this remaining room.
Additional Information
The cause of this incident was determined to be a device on one of the sub-networks causing high CPU usage. That sub-network was taken offline to allow the rest of the local areas to return to full capacity. Once the device was located, the sub-network was returned to normal with the exception of one port feeding a lab within 24 Cummington Mall.
Clients may need to restart their devices in order to regain access to the wired and wireless networks in the previously affected areas.

At this point all services, except for those on a sub-network within 24 Cummington Mall should be functional again.
