RESOLVED: Latest Chrome update does not work with BUworks

Update 4/27/17:  The patching of the BUworks Central portal is complete.  As long as you have the latest version of Chrome (version 58) you should be able to use that to access BUworks once again.

Please be advised that the latest version of Google Chrome, version 56.0.2924.76, does not work with the BUworks Central portal.  It will only show the heading of the BUworks Landing Page.  No tabs will appear, making navigation impossible.  If you intend to use Chrome to access BUworks, please do not intentionally update Chrome (going into Help>about will automatically trigger an update) until we have resolved this issue.  If it updates automatically, you should be able to use Firefox or IE as alternative browsers.  We will post news of any resolution on the BUworks Landing page.

Update 3/2/17:  Google and SAP provided a fix in mid-February.  We tested it and found that it resulted in unacceptable system performance.  Google worked on another fix that we have now tested that appears to work correctly.  Unfortunately, it will not be available until Google releases version 58 as a general release.  Right now they are projecting that to be April 25, 2017.  Our apologies for any inconvenience due to this extended resolution.

Update 4/24/17:  Google has released version 58 of Chrome.  We are testing it with SAP’s patch and it appears to be working correctly.  We have scheduled the patch to go to production on Thursday, 4/27/17, by 7 AM.  At that point, you should be able to use Chrome to access the BUworks Central portal once again. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
