Description of Impact
There was an issue with Exchange email for PCs off-campus using Office 2010 or 2013 as well as those using an IMAP connection. Some clients were seeing a message stating that a legacy certificate is invalid. Other clients were prompted for their username and login repeatedly.
Mac computers not using IMAP were not affected. The web interface, https://xmail.bu.edu, as well as mobile devices were not affected.
Full service has been restored.
