Venkatesh Saligrama is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Division of Systems Engineering at Boston University. He holds a PhD from MIT. His research interests are in Statistical Learning, Video Analytics, Statistical Signal Processing, Information and Control theory, Sensor Networks. He was a keynote speaker at the Homeland Security Summit and a plenary speaker at the Northeast Control Conference. He gave a plenary talk at the 2015 IEEE International Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing. He has edited a book on Networked Sensing, Information and Control. He served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and has been on Technical Program Committees of several IEEE conferences.
