Abbreviated CV:

Venkatesh Saligrama received the B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1990, and the SM. and PhD degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993 and 1997 respectively. From 1991 to 1997, he was a research assistant at Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems, MIT. Between 1997 and 2000, he was at the United Technologies Research Center, Hartford, CT in the Signal Processing Group and was a Visiting Scientist at MIT between 2000-2001. He has since been on the faculty in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. He received the 1997 Outstanding Achievement Award from United Technologies and is the recipient of the 2002 ONR Young Investigator Award.
