Dr. Kolaczyk receievd his Ph.D. (1994) and M.S. (1992) in Statistics at Stanford University. He received his B.S. in Mathematics at the University of Chicago (1990). He has been affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and Statisitcs, Boston University since 1998. Previously he was an Asst Professor with the Department of Statistics, Harvard University (1997-1998) and the Department of Statistics, The University of Chicago(1994-1998). In 1996, he received the Project Kaleidoscope Faculty for the 21st Century Award, and in 1993, the Stanford University Centennial Teaching Assistant Award.
