Dr. Hu received his S.B. in Applied Mathematics at Fudan University, Shanghai, P.R.China, S.B. (1985), his S.M. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University(1987) and his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Harvard University (1990). In 1998, Dr. Hu received an Outstanding Simulation Publication Award, INFORMS College on Simulation, Conditional Monte Carlo: Gradient Estimation and Optimization Applications (co-authored with M.C. Fu).
