Alternate ways to access Matlab:
The OIT Application Server
UNIX and Linux machines that use the Office of Information
Technology's Application Server have access to preinstalled
versions of Matlab 7.5 and some earlier versions.. Ask your system
administrator if this service is available on your
departmental machines.
Matlab on ACS and ACS-Linux
Write owner-matlab-list@bu.edu if your class needs access to the latest version of Matlab on acs-linux.bu.edu.
ACS is the University's shared access UNIX cluster. For those without access to a departmental system, Matlab is installed on the ACS cluster for use by the entire University community. Include /usr/vendor/bin in your $PATH and type 'matlab65'.
Matlab on SCV systems
Faculty and students on a research project are eligible
for an account on Scientific Computing and Visualization
systems, where a version of Matlab is also available.
See the SCV Matlab help page.
