According to the Clean Air Council, the average American uses 650 pounds of paper a year and collectively throws away enough office paper annually to build a 12-foot wall spanning from New York City to Los Angeles. But, by printing on both sides, and only printing what is really necessary, paper usage can be considerably reduced.
