The Environmental Student Organization (ESO) is a student group based out of Boston University striving to raise environmental awareness and create beneficial environmental change on campus as well as in the surrounding Boston community. To contact the ESO, you can email or  follow them on twitter. Among one of the events that they support is the International Day of Climate Action, whose purpose is to bring awareness of the need to bring our atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide down to 350 parts per million, the number that leading scientists say is the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide to avoid runaway climate change.  Track the current co2 atmospheric rate at co2 Now.org.
