’10 sustainability@BU Festival

Stop by the first annual sustainability@BU Festival on Thursday, September 16th, on the GSU Plaza between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Student Sustainability Network, how a home energy audit can help you save cash and CO2, and taste the  Fall Crisps from Dining Services. Also check out the Farmer’s Market, and Join the Challenge. Some clubs and vendors attending include:

Turn Off The Lights

If everyone at Boston University turned off one light, for one hour a day, for one year, we could save 733,475 kWh per year, the equivalent of removing 97 cars (or 1,161,000 pounds of CO2) from the road for an entire year.
