Green Ribbon Comission
The Green Ribbon Commission is a private, volunteer advisory group comprised of a diverse set of business and civic leaders with a shared desire to make Boston a national leader in the green economy and the fight against global climate change. Its mission is to convene leaders from Boston’s key sectors – business, education, health care, finance, real estate, professional services, and others – to support the outcomes of the City’s Climate Action Plan. The education sector is represented by the following institutions: Boston University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, and UMass Boston.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Amos Hostetter, founder of Continental Cablevision are the commission’s co-chairs.
