Student, faculty, and staff volunteers are needed to act as ambassadors for campus sustainability and welcome students returning to Boston University for Fall Semester Move-in Weekend. If you are interested in joining Scarlet Squad 2010 or Green Team 2010  email ResLife

What is the Green Team?

In partnership with the Scarlet Squad, the Green Team is a group of black-shirted, upperclassmen, faculty, and staff who greet first-year students and assist them and their families recycle cardboard and learn about sustainable living in our residence halls. Participating in the Green Team is a terrific way to meet new people and give back to the Boston University community!

Volunteer Information

Each Green Team member is asked to commit to at least a five-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday. If you are willing to help with more it would be greatly appreciated, but is not required. You will be contacted with specific details regarding your Green Team volunteer experience once the schedule is finalized. To sign up for Green Team email ResLife.

What is the Scarlet Squad?

The Boston University community has been welcoming new students to campus for more than two decades. The Scarlet Squad is the group of red-shirted upperclassmen, faculty, and staff who greet first-year students and assist them and their families as they move into our residence halls. Participating in the Scarlet Squad is a terrific way to meet new people and give back to the Boston University community.

Volunteer Information
