As part of a student, faculty, and staff initiative to promote Green Energy, the School of Education and sedGreen installed seven solar panels and a small wind turbine on top of the school’s Sherborn Street roof. The solar panels absorb energy from the sun, convert it to electricity, and send it into the grid to help power the building. Energy produced from the wind turbine is also converted to electricity then sent into the building’s power grid.
