Orientation and Activities
Once you are accepted into the Summer Study Internship Program, you will receive information that will answer many of your questions, from housing arrangements, to campus life, to what to pack for your summer in Boston.
An orientation will take place on campus at the beginning of the program. Along with an opportunity to get to know fellow participants, program administrators, and faculty, you'll participate in a workshop run by representatives from EUSA, the internship placement agency that works with Boston University. Following the workshop, you will attend your first Internship course meeting. The day's planned activities will end with a group dinner at a local restaurant.
The Internship Program also includes excursions and field trips to places of historic and cultural interest in and around the Boston area. Of course, you'll have plenty of opportunities to travel on your own or with new friends from the program. For activity details, visit the Internship Program calendar.
