Intensive Spanish Immersion

This summer, eat, live, and breathe Spanish!

Becoming fluent in any language requires daily practice. Boston University's Intensive Spanish Immersion provides an opportunity for students of first-year Spanish to reinforce their speaking skills by living in a Spanish-speaking residence on campus.

Students enrolled in the intensive Spanish course CAS LS 123 during Summer 2 are eligible to apply to live in a summer residence dedicated exclusively to speaking Spanish. Lessons learned in each week’s Spanish classes will be enriched through daily conversations, interaction, and recreation. A resident program coordinator will engage students in social activities and events that provide an understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures and their customs.

CAS LS 123 First-Year Spanish

For beginners only. Extensive drill of basic phonological and structural patterns of spoken Spanish. Practice in reading simple examples of written Spanish. This course is the equivalent of one year of college Spanish. 8 cr. Tuition: $4000
