Withdrawal Deadlines

Absence from class does not constitute an official withdrawal or dropped course. If your plans change and you are unable to attend a course for which you have registered, you must officially withdraw from the class. Failure to do so within the schedule of dates for that course will result in your being held responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the course(s) in question.

Students can withdraw from summer classes using WebReg on the Student Link until the add/drop deadline that applies to their courses. You can also complete a Class Adjustment Form and mail, fax, or deliver the form to:

100% credit on tuition and registration and laboratory fees

From May 20 to May 27

100% credit on tuition only

As of May 28

no credit (0%) on tuition and fees

Withdrawal Credit - Session 2 (6-week courses)

Before July 1, 2008

100% credit on tuition and registration and laboratory fees

From July 1 to July 7

100% credit on tuition only

As of July 8

no credit (0%) on tuition and fees

Withdrawal Credit (12-week courses)

Before May 20, 2008

100% credit on tuition and registration and laboratory fees

From May 20 to June 3

100% credit on tuition only

As of June 4

no credit (0%) on tuition and fees

Credit Balance

A credit balance on your account resulting from withdrawal, overpayment, or adjustment may be refunded if you make a request in writing to:

However, if financial assistance comprises all or part of your credit balance you must make your refund request with your financial assistance representative.
