Withdrawal Deadlines
Registration for Summer begins in March

Absence from class does not constitute an official withdrawal or dropped course. If your plans change and you are unable to attend a course for which you have registered, you must officially withdraw from the class. Failure to do so within the schedule of dates for that course will result in your being held responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the course(s) in question.
Students can withdraw from summer classes using WebReg on the Student Link until the add/drop deadline that applies to their courses. You can also complete a Class Adjustment Form and mail, fax, or deliver the form to:

Please Note: If you are a visiting international student attending Summer Term on a Boston University F-1 student visa, you must remain enrolled in all of your courses throughout the summer session in order to maintain your F-1 visa status.

Credit Balance
A credit balance on your account resulting from withdrawal, overpayment, or adjustment may be refunded if you make a request in writing to:
