Housing and Dining
Warren Towers has 24-hour security and carefully-selected program assistants live in the residences to provide students with guidance as they adapt to college life - they also coordinate social outings and ensure that students are back in the residence at curfew. The residence dining room is also located in Warren Towers (which makes it easier to go to breakfast in your pajamas). The menu choices at Warren Towers include restaurant-style entrées, an expansive salad bar, hand-wrapped burritos, vegan entrées, and freshly-made desserts - to name just a few. If you have special dietary requirements, please contact us so we can make arrangements to best accommodate you. Call 617-353-1378 or e-mail buhssumr@bu.edu. Commuting StudentsStudents in the High School Honors Program have the option of commuting to campus for class (Summer Challenge, though, is a mandatory residential program). Our preference is that you live on campus so you get the true college experience, like living in the dorms and forming bonds with the other students in the program. If you do choose to commute to BU, you will still be responsible for the $500 program fee and attending orientation, as we will expect you to participate in all of the planned program events. Students staying at their home during the program will need to submit a letter from their parents stating this fact. For those commuting students who will be staying with a relative during the duration of the program, we will need the following permission letters from you:
These letters should be forwarded to the High School Honors Program at the time of your application. |
