Schedule of Events
Group outings to Harvard Square, Faneuil Hall, and Newbury Street. Movie and game nights in the dorms. Basketball at FitRec and Ultimate Frisbee on the Boston Common.
These are just a few examples of what students participate in during a summer in Boston. Program events help orient you to the city of Boston and help you get to know the other students in the program. And they're fun! Take a look at the schedule of events from last summer—it will give you an idea of how you will spend your time on campus. Optional and impromptu events planned by the Program Assistants and staff also take place throughout the summer.
In addition, we offer a workshop with the Boston University Office of Admissions. This workshop focuses on helping you with the college admission process along with how to succeed when you get to college.
Note: To help build a community among the Summer Challenge students, participation is mandatory for all planned activities. Students will have an opportunity to explore outside activities during scheduled free time - such as practicing their musical instrument, playing sports at FitRec, or walking around Boston.
