Summer Challenge Students

Take Your Summer to the Next Level

For two weeks, experience life on a college campus and take on new academic challenges in our residential summer program for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Summer Challenge students can choose any two seminars from our list of 21. Each seminar is designed to expand your academic horizons through lectures, discussions, individual and group work, project-based assignments—even field trips. Small class sizes give you the opportunity to receive individual attention from our experienced team of college instructors.

Summer Challenge Students Walking

As part of our program, we offer a college admissions workshop, providing Summer Challenge students with valuable insight into the college application process.

The Big Picture

Summer Challenge: The Big Picture

Our Summer Challenge program is designed to foster a close-knit social community for students while providing a true college experience. Daily activities on the Boston University campus and throughout the city ensure many fun opportunities to meet peers, make friends, and get to know Boston. Listen to what past students have to say about the academic and social rewards of the Summer Challenge program, and their feelings about a summer spent in Boston.
