Wire Transfers

Boston University offers two options for international payments of a student account balance: peerTransfer and Western Union Business Solutions. These vendors both provide a tailored interface for international payments to BU. Use of either of these services will generally result in a lower exchange rate and/or total transaction cost for the student than payment by bank wire. In addition, since the information collected from the student through these vendor interfaces, including the student’s BU account number, is transmitted electronically to BU along with payment, use of either of these vendors will allow for faster crediting of payments to the correct student account.

Note: Application fees and the initial deposit are non-refundable. No refund or reduction in tuition or service fees will be made for a student who arrives to the program late, leaves the program early, or is dismissed from the program due to a violation of the program guidelines.
