A Day in the Life of a High School Honors Student
What is your day like as a High School Honors student at Boston University? That depends somewhat on your courses. When choosing your two courses, take note of what days and times they meet. That is your class schedule for the six weeks of the program.
Meals are offered in the Warren Towers dining room. Warren Towers offers a wide variety of cuisine for all tastes and preferences including vegetarian and vegan options. The dining staff can also help if you have food allergies or other dietary restrictions. The dining schedule is:
Dining Schedule | |
|---|---|
| Breakfast | 7 - 9 am |
| Lunch | 11:30 am - 1:30 pm |
| Dinner | 5 - 7 pm |
| Weekend brunch | 10:30 am - 1:30 pm |
While at Boston University, you share dorm life and social activities with students from the Research Internship in Science & Engineering program. To help you get to know everyone, the first week includes a variety of entertaining group events that we’ve organized on campus and around Boston. After that, each weekend has a planned activity that everyone participates in, as well as some optional activities during the week. Your weeknights are free for homework, imprompu activities, and spending time with friends until curfew. Take a look at our Schedule of Events to see what kinds of exciting things we do.
There is plenty of free time to enjoy the campus and Boston on your own. You can purchase a short-term membership to Boston University’s Fitness & Recreation Center, study at one of BU’s 24 libraries, or relax on the BU beach. And of course, there are countless things to do in Boston.
