Check-in and Departure Information

Check-in

All Summer Term High School Program check-in occurs on the fourth floor of Warren Towers, 700 Commonwealth Avenue. Parking is available in the Warren Towers garage, located on the first three floors of Warren Towers. Enter the garage on Hinsdale Street. For directions to Boston University, please visit Travel to Campus.

Program Assistants will be stationed at the entrance to Warren Towers to provide directions to the check-in location.

Room Assignment

If you are moving into the residence, you will get your room assignment, room keys, and the name of your roommate at check-in. Large blue bins will be available for transporting personal luggage and boxes to your room.

The times that the programs are completed are indicated below. All students besides Summer Preview students can stay in the dorms until 10:00 a.m. the morning after the program ends.

Check-out Procedures

The following must be completed when you move out of Warren Towers:

  • Remove all personal belongings and trash from the room
  • Close and lock all windows
  • Turn off the lights
  • Leave the room in a clean, habitable condition
  • Lock the door
  • Return residence key, in person, to the summer residence office and ask for a key receipt*

*Students who do not return their residence key to the summer residence office will be charged up to $110 for a lock change and replacement keys.
