There are good reasons to study at BU this summer
As a BU student, you can cover a lot of academic ground during the summer.
Along with smaller class sizes and the intensive summer study format, there are several good reasons to enroll in Summer Term courses:
May 22 - June 29, 2012
July 2 - August 10, 2012
Advance your studies.
With more than 700 courses in over 70 subjects, drawn from many of BU’s 16 schools and colleges, Summer Term is an ideal time to take a concentration requirement, focus on a particular academic subject of interest, or complete a distribution course in math, science, liberal arts, or writing.
Stimulate your curiosity.
Branch out and explore something new. Along with courses in areas such as fine arts, music, and communication, you’ll find a number of Summer Highlights, including Boston Studies courses, business for non-majors, and an extensive selection of foreign languages. Be sure to look at all our offerings—many are unique to Summer Term, and you won’t find them during the school year.
Experience Boston in the summer.
Summer brings out the best in Boston. You can enjoy the pleasures of outdoor dining, catch an evening ballgame at Fenway Park, or attend a street festival in the North End—Boston is full of summer activities. Take sailing lessons on the Charles or rent a canoe, see a performance on the Boston Common, or witness Boston's spectacular Fourth of July celebration on the Esplanade.
