Topic for Summer 2019: American Imperialism, Indigenous Resistance. Examines the twinned histories of American imperialism and Native American resistance to explore the relationship between the state and Indigenous people in the modern era. Employs an interdisciplinary approach to the study of American culture and history, drawing upon historical understanding and visual and material culture. 4 cr. Tuition: $2800
