Absence from class or non-payment does not constitute an official withdrawal or dropped course. If your plans change and you are unable to attend a course for which you have registered, you must officially drop/withdraw from the class. Failure to do so within the add/drop deadlines for that course will result in your being held responsible for all tuition and fees associated with the course(s) in question.
Students can drop/withdraw from summer courses on the Student Link until the add/drop deadline. Add/Drop deadlines for Summer 2019 will be available on December 15.
Please Note: If you are a visiting international student attending Summer Term on a Boston University Summer I-20, you must maintain full-time enrollment in the summer. If you have any questions, please conact firstname.lastname@example.org.
A credit balance on your account may be refunded by request. Students with access to the Student Link can make a request to refund an existing credit balance by clicking "Request a Refund" from Student Account inquiry. Students who do not have access to the Student Link may make a request in writing by email to email@example.com or by sending a letter to:
