Student Activities provides a variety of services to assist student organizations and provide student leadership opportunities. They also offer a variety of University-wide events throughout the academic year, such as comedy shows, concerts, film screenings and Boston Red Sox and New England Revolution game trips. Community Service Center
CSC provides students with thousands of volunteer opportunities to address the critical concerns of the community in a meaningful way.

Howard Thurman Center
The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground preserves Dr. Howard Thurman’s legacy of breaking barriers of divisiveness by inspiring Boston University’s students to discover their shared humanity through programs and events designed to expand their intellectual, social, and spiritual growth and foster their development of meaningful and authentic friendships.

Student Media

The Daily Free Press is an independent student-run news source that has covered the University for decades. Turn to them for a student take on campus and world news, Boston area entertainment and Terrier sports. Another student-run publication is the BU Buzz, a lifestyle magazine about BU and the Greater Boston community. Off The Cuff is another student-run magazine that shares “the creative collision among fashion, art and diversity.”

WTBU is the University’s student radio station, and offers the latest in music, reflections of great tunes of the past and sports coverage. BUTV10 provides award-winning video content on the University’s TV network and online, including the longest running collegiate soap opera, Bay State.

Religious Groups and Organizations

Religious Life at the University is overseen by Marsh Chapel. There are several religious student organizations as well as a variety of faith traditions recognized around the University.
