Spring semester is wrapping up, and that means one thing....not finals, ACAPELLA...
India Club nn
In 1981, a group of Indians at BU came together with a vision: a student group at Boston University allowing people from all over the Boston area to meet and network.Over the course of the last 27 years the Boston University India Club has grown into the largest group of South Asians this side of the Mississippi. We’re also the largest student cultural group on campus. Every year we host meetings, community service events, free dinners, basketball tournaments, festivals, star-trek conventions (just kidding) and last but certainly not least, our two flagship cultural shows, each of which attract over 1000 people. These large productions have in the past showcased the best dancing, singing, and acting talent our diverse student community has to offer.
Although BUIC is the largest cultural group here at BU, we would crash, burn and disappear without the involvement of our members. We encourage everyone here at good ol’ diverse Boston University to come check us out. At the very least, being a member yields you a free show ticket and free food. But by being a member, we hope that you can gain new connections and a better understanding of the cultural backgrounds of the South Asian community. If you have any comments or questions, please email us at BUIndiaClub@gmail.com.
