Activities consultants (ACs) are some of the first faces you’ll see when you visit us at Student Activities. They’re student leaders, supported by our team of pros, who guide other students through the process of planning engaging events. You can sit down with them for a one-on-one—no appointment necessary—to get planning support for your organization’s event. Just drop by our office at 1 University Road or call 617-353-3635.
Our mavens at Activities Information are some of the most informed students around. They’re here to help promote student events happening anywhere on campus. Located on the second floor of the George Sherman Union (775 Comm. Ave.), they also provide information to campus visitors and company for students walking across campus late at night. Our MKTG team provides promotional support to student organizations through social media, video production, graphic design, and web promotions. They’re interested in communicating engaging stories about campus activities. Get in touch with them about your next event.
The Programming Team—BU’s student-run programming board—is one of the most active student groups on campus, planning many concerts, comedy shows, leadership summits and other large scale events. They also provide students with the opportunity to attend open-mic nights, movie screenings, celebrity meet and greets, and more. They seek to not only provide quality entertainment to the students of Boston University, but also to create a sense of community among our large and diverse student body. Made up entirely of undergrads, the Allocations Board (AB) is an organization tasked with distributing a portion of the Undergraduate Student Fee to on- and off-campus events hosted by undergraduate student organizations. Members attend meetings every Monday night and staff the office, volunteering their time to subsidize and encourage great events. Visit the AB site or drop them a line.
