Can I scan books and articles?

The library has a new, easy-to-use flatbed scanner by the microfilm readers. Materials can be scanned into 5MB PDF, text-searchable PDF, JPEG, and Word file formats. These files can be emailed or uploaded to a USB drive directly. There is no cost to use the scanner.

Can I photocopy books and articles?

The library currently has two copiers to allow you to make photocopies of materials you need for your research. The Theology Library uses

a copy card system rather than coin-operated machines.

Whom do I ask if I need help photocopying or scanning?

If you have trouble with the copiers, please stop by the Circulation Desk and we will do our best to assist you.

Copy Card Dispenser

The Copy Card Dispenser is located next to the copiers.

How can I obtain a copy card for the copier?

A card dispenser is available outside the alcove in which the copiers are located. The machine takes bills only.

To purchase a card, you must begin with a single dollar. The machine will dispense a card with 20 cents worth of copies. Once you have a card, you can add money to it at any time. Please sign your card so we can return it to you if it is found by our staff.
