Dean Mary Elizabeth Moore, Ph.D.

Welcome to the School of Theology website and to the joy of discovery. The School of Theology is a community of scholars on an academic, spiritual, and social quest to learn more about the ways of God and the complexities of our intercultural, interreligious, and interconnected world. In this community, classrooms buzz with questions and new insights, and faculty publish books and articles that change the intellectual and theological landscape. Student organizations continually breathe freshness and purpose into our daily life, whether gathering food for people who are hungry, sponsoring a walk for children, or enlarging our recycling program. Worship brings the community together every week to remember and celebrate the Holy center of our lives. Faculty and students also partner with churches and other religious and community organizations to learn and minister with others and to contribute to a more just, peaceful, and faith-filled world.

–Mary Elizabeth Moore
