Rev. Dr. Robin J. Olson

Spiritual Life Coordinator
Doctor of Ministry, Wesley Theological Seminary
Master of Divinity, Boston University School of Theology
Bachelor of Arts, Colgate University

The Rev. Dr. Robin Olson began work at the School of Theology in January 2011 in the newly fashioned Spiritual Life Coordinator position. Robin is a United Methodist Elder, and has served several churches across Wisconsin and New York state. As a proud alumna of the Boston University School of Theology class of 1986, she is thrilled to return to ministry on the BU campus. Robin also serves as a Chapel Associate for Campus Ministry at Marsh Chapel.

Most recently, Robin served as the Protestant Chaplain at Nazareth College in Rochester NY. Her passion for ministry is keenly ignited in spiritual formation opportunities with young adults. She is an enthusiastic mentor in the United Methodist Student Movement, and delights in the holy awakenings of young people in faith. Of particular interests for Robin are retreats and faith-based service learning trips.

Robin and her husband, the Rev. Dr. Christopher Evans (STH professor) joyously share their home with sons Peter and Andrew. She is readily inspired by the coast of Maine, synergy in planning meetings, beautiful surroundings, new ideas and ancient practices, and all things chocolate and caffeinated.
