Gina joined the School of Theology administrative team in September 2011. Prior to coming to STH, she worked at the Office of the University Registrar, where she held the position of Assistant University Registrar for Schedules and Training. During her tenure in higher education administration, she has also worked in three academic departments within BU’s College of Arts and Sciences, and at Tufts University’s USDA Human Nutrition Research Center.

Gina has always loved the city of Boston, with its rich history, strong academic culture, and great international vibe, and in 1996 she left her hometown of Fair Lawn, New Jersey to move to “The Hub” and become a part of the BU community. During her undergraduate studies, she spent an amazing year abroad in Padova, Italy, an experience that continues to shape her reality and her love of languages and cultures. After completing a B.A. and an M.A in International Relations at BU, Gina decided to incorporate her passion for languages into her academic portfolio by completing an M.A. in Applied Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts.

In her free time, Gina enjoys traveling internationally, studying languages, painting, photography, eating out with friends, watching documentary films, playing with the family’s amazing polydactyl Maine Coone cat, Hemingway, and spending time with her son, Dante, who is the pride and joy of her life.
