Chad William Kidd

Director, Seminary Singers; Worship Coordinator

Rev. Chad William Kidd has been affiliated with the Seminary Singers since 2001, when he began his dual degree program, Master of Divinity/Master of Sacred Music, at the School of Theology.  Rev. Kidd served as Assistant Director, a member of the tenor section, and French horn soloist with the group before becoming the Director. He also serves as the Worship Coordinator for the School of Theology. In this role, Rev. Kidd oversees a dynamic group of student interns who form the School of Theology Worship Team. Together they plan, create, and implement imaginative and vibrant weekly worship at the School of Theology. Rev. Kidd also serves as the Minister of Music at the First Congregational Church of Reading, United Church of Christ, a position he has held since 2001. Ordained in the United Church of Christ, Chad serves in ministry at Brooksby Village, a large and vibrant continuing care retirement community in Peabody, MA, as the Pastoral Ministries Manager. He is also co-pastor, with his spouse Rev. Dr. Anastasia E. B. Kidd, of the First Congregational Parish, UCC in Truro, MA.
