Rev. Anastasia E. B. Kidd

Director of Admissions and College Relations
Master of Divinity, Boston University School of Theology
Bachelor of Arts, Belmont University

The Reverend Anastasia E. B. Kidd began her work at the School of Theology while in its Master of Divinity program. She served two years as the institution’s Community Life Coordinator, working as a liaison between the students and the School’s administration. After graduating summa cum laude from the MDiv, Anastasia needed a “temporary” position while working through her ordination requirements. The School hired her to serve as its Admissions Officer in 2004.  Anastasia soon found that Admissions work is far more than just administration – it is a ministry. And so, in 2006 Anastasia began as the School of Theology’s Director of Admissions and College Relations. Anastasia’s work in Admissions and Student Services allows her to fulfill her ministerial goals of helping to shape sacred and hospitable space, as well as help people in their vocational and personal discernment. She considers theological higher education to be an extension of her first love, local church Christian education.

Anastasia has since been ordained by the Metro Boston Association of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ, and she served as the Chair of the Leadership Development Commission of that Conference for many years. Anastasia travels extensively in her recruitment efforts and personally, and most enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with both her mischievous cats and mischievous husband.
