Master of Divinity Plan of Study for Fall 2010/Spring 2011 (Incoming Curriculum with Tracks)

For MDiv students who matriculated in the Fall 2010 semester or the Spring 2011 semester:

MDiv students use 1 of the following plan of study forms to track their progress in their degree program.  Please use the Plan of Study for the MDiv track that you are pursuing.

MDiv Pastoral Ministry Track Plan of Study (Fall 2010/Spring 2011) The Pastoral Ministry Track is appropriate for students pursuing ordination as a denominational elder, deacon, or pastor.  It is also appropriate for those entering chaplaincy, campus ministry, or pastoral care in any vocational setting.

MDiv Church and the Arts Track Plan of Study The Church and the Arts Track is appropriate for students pursuing sacred music, music ministry, liturgical studies, homiletical arts, sacramental theology, aesthetics or the dual degree program with the Master of Sacred Music.

MDiv Global & Community Engagement Track Plan of Study The Global & Community Engagement Track is appropriate for students pursuing vocational goals in conflict transformation, missiology, history of global mission, ecumenism, interfaith dialogue, trauma healing & theology, non-profit management (NGO), and military chaplaincy with an emphases on conflict transformation.

MDiv Religion & the Academy Track Plan of Study The Religion and the Academy Track is appropriate for students in any academic discipline who are seeking to pursue doctoral studies to teach in the academy.

STUDENTS: Please turn in a Plan of Study each semester with your Permission to Register Form (signed by your advisor). This completed form is also required to turn in with one’s Graduation Application.
