- Starts:

- Ends:

A public conversation featuring:
Susan Abraham, Harvard Divinity School
M. Shawn Copeland, Boston College
Stephanie Paulsell, Harvard Divinity School
Shelly Rambo, Boston University School of Theology
Mary Elizabeth Moore, Boston University School of Theology
In October 2009, we hosted a panel discussion about feminist and womanist practical theology in honor of Mary Elizabeth Moore’s installation as Dean of BU School of Theology. Several theologians from the BTI offered reflections about the nature and task of practical theology in light of their commitments to feminist and womanist theology. We are re-gathering to pick up the major threads of the conversation and to say “farewell” to Susan Abraham, co-coordinator of the original discussion, who is assuming a teaching position at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles.
