The Boston University School of Theology Office of Lifelong Learning Presents DR. PETER BERGER: Professor Emeritus of Religion, Sociology and Theology. Director, Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs, Boston University Dr. Berger is a highly respected sociologist who has offered significant contributions to the Sociology of Religion and Sociology of Knowledge. Professor Berger previously taught at the New School for Social Research, at Rutgers University, and at Boston College. He has written numerous books on sociological theory, the sociology of religion, and Third World development, which have been translated into dozens of foreign languages. Student appointments with Dr. Burger available to those attending the lecture. Scheduling will be done the night of the lecture.
