Speaker: William Means is a life-long activist in the areas of environmental protection, human rights, and self-determination for Indigenous peoples. He is recognized as an expert on Indian treaties by the United Nations, and is co-founder and current president of the Board of the International Indian Treaty Council, the first Indigenous organization to attain NGO status at the United Nations.
