Whitney M. Young, Jr., Fellowship
Deadline: February 17, 2012 for 2012-2013 academic year
Amount: The fellowship provides a stipend for living expenses, Boston University health insurance, plus a scholarship for full tuition and fees for one year.
Qualifications:
Applicant should be an entering or continuing graduate student who is a U.S. citizen. The recipient of this award will be selected on the basis of having displayed academic proficiency in a field related to race relations or urban problems. All Applicants must provide the completed application form to the Committee prior to the deadline.
Description:
Boston University annually awards a Whitney M. Young, Jr. Fellowship in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by Whitney M. Young, Jr., particularly in the fields of social work, urban studies and Afro-American Studies. Required material:
