The following are South Georgia Conference scholarships:

1) The Peed Scholarship

Deadline: May 1
Amount: Up to $3,900

Description: Scholarships available to full-time, United Methodist students in the South Georgia Annual Conference

Qualifications:

  • must demonstrate financial need
  • students preparing for ministry who are residents of or working within the bounds of the South Georgia Conference
  • recipients who change careers or conferences are obligated to repay the grant

2) South Georgia Annual Conference Ministerial Education Fund

Amount: $150 per semester hour

Description: Service loans available to students who are certified candidates for ministry in the South Georgia Annual Conference
